One of the UK’s largest engineering and construction companies takes a firm foothold in the offshore wind energy market as it has successfully been awarded a record number of contracts wins for the business in this sector.
Engie Fabricom – headquartered in Grimsby, with offices in Immingham, Lowestoft, Stokesley and Middlesbrough – has reported it has secured over £20 million pounds worth of business in offshore wind following a series of wins over the course of the past 12 months. This has seen the business undertake projects on behalf of tier one companies working directly on the UK’s largest offshore wind farms.
The company is well experienced with a team of highly skilled engineers in delivering an extensive range of engineering services from anode installation, cathodic protection and grout repairs right through to safety modifications, turbine inspection and substation commissioning.
Investing over £110,000 into its manufacturing and construction facilities at its Immingham site, Engie Fabricom has also recently invested in its equipment to add an additional four Remote Operating Vehicles (ROV’s) to add to its already impressive range of specialist equipment.
