For over 70 years, ICM Safety has supported and collaborated with the best and largest Danish companies. As these customers grew and expanded around the world, ICM Safety grew to become a valuable partner in their safety supply chain.
This experience in international markets, international shipping and logistics and global safety legislation has enabled ICM safety to become one of the largest international full line safety distributors to the global wind industry. Today, ICM Safety supports turbine manufacturers, offshore foundation and tower manufacturers, field technicians, operation and maintenance contractors throughout Europe, North America, China and Asia.
ICM provides products that range from engineered ladder safety climbing systems, fall arrest anchors, confined space equipment, rescue and evacuation equipment, fire suppression systems, eye wash stations, electrical safety kits, ARC Flash clothing, spineboard kits as well as PPE items such as climbing harnesses, lanyards, boots, helmets, eye protection, immersion suits, life vests and emergency personal beacons. In 2012, ICM entered the environmental safety market through the acquisition of several well-known Danish manufacturers. Now, ICM Safety is able to offer complete workplace safety including safety barriers, chemical absorption, spill kits and environmental hazard containment solutions. Additionally, ICM has retained the technical personnel with years of experience to support their customer needs.
This level of competence and technical support is only possible with the best brand names in safety: 3M, DuPont, Scott, Petzl, Honeywell, MSA, Sala, Skylotec, ProGarm, and Actsafe. Over the years ICM has cultivated these relationships to deliver the solutions their customers require. Examples of this have involved bespoke products, kitting of several components to customer requirements, global pricing, global shipping, special labelling and identification, multi-legislative safety approvals, on-hand inventory for immediate dispatch and local technical support. It also means collaborating throughout customer organisations with engineering, purchasing, logistics, training, sub-contractors and site management personnel.
ICM created a web shop of safety solutions in 2015. Today, ICM Safety offers special web-shop solutions for several customers. From anywhere in the world, ICM Safety customers enjoy 24/7 ordering capability, secure management pre-approval, consolidated invoicing by team or job site, and prepaid shipping to sites. This web solution includes technical documentation that is accessible on customer tablets or mobile phones. These include individual product owner’s manuals, CE certificates, Certificates of conformity and inspection schedules.
