The Government of Aruba plans to establish, in partnership with a number of Dutch industry bodies, a wind energy research centre specialising in the specific weather conditions of the Caribbean. These companies, with decades of experience in the wind energy arena, are currently in the process of ascertaining the feasibility of such a centre, as Frank Hoevertsz, managing director of Utilities Aruba, explains.
